190B & Bucket Wheel.

Post #1 by dozeron » Thu Jul 05, 2007 6:56 am

In an effort to get more production and cut costs, a company in NZ back in the early 1990s replaced a 190B with this Bucket wheel. Not too sure if it was successful or not, had left the industry by then. Took my son and a mate over to see them parked up. Not sure of the make of the Bucket Wheel.

Nice pics

Thanks for posting them.

I know my old man had some time on a BE195, M195 Dragline then finally a 7500 walking drag.
Will post some pics when i get round to it.

Ross
