Interesting stuff there Steve, I see the machine in the fourth picture was made by Joy Mining.
When I worked for RMB we used to do lots of machining work for Joy, the two main depots that we used to deal with were down at Worcester and up at Pinxton not so far from Derby.
Joy specialize in the manufacture of underground mining equipment and have won some large orders out in the far east.
