Me too
Fred
Ah well I can see I am wrong on a closer look as the Farinas had a chrome strip but I don't think it is a Zephyr. Perhaps a Zodiac!
The rear pillar, check the rear pillar.

Hi,
Seems to be some interest here so here are a couple more. My favourite is the one with "The Bond Girl."

Looks like it, and a Fiat beyond?
If a LandRover doesn't leak oil, it's run out.

[quote="FOWLER MAN"]Hi,
Seems to be some interest here so here are a couple more. My favourite is the one with "The Bond Girl."
I thought someone would have noticed that little car with the girl was a "Bond Bug". Oh well!
Anyone besides me remember Vulcan lorries. I grew up surrounded with by them as the Vulcan dealer for South East Wales was in our village.
They had run a fleet of Tilling Stevens busses and when Tilling were taken over by Vulcan they took on the dealership.
Vulcans were used by the local quarries and hauliers well into the 1950s. A local contractor had one with a Gardner engine hauling agg-lime to our spreaders well into the 60s.
Production had ceased in 1953 when Rootes took over and the Tilling Stevens designed two stroke TS3, (Commer Knocker), was used in Commer trucks.
There aren't many pics. of Vulcans at work but here are a couple I found
A late Gardner powered Vulcan at work with a 10 RB and Parker Loadascreen
A 1948/9 Perkins engined Vulcan with 10 RB.

I'm sorry, did I miss something? A car you say? Oh yes. I didn't see much past the blond hair and boots!
I only really remember the Bug as it was in the Corgi Toys catalogue. Don't think I've ever seen one in the 'fibreglass' as it were. Looked like fun but I suspect weren't.
Vulcans - I've learnt something. I didn't think they were made much after WW1.

Pretty sure a friend of mine has a Bond Bug in his back garden; sadly I guess that's where it will remain as he is too ill to do anything with it and he is the kind of chap that will not part with anything, as for Vulcan trucks well yes I have heard of them but never seen one myself.
