Popular as lifeboat tractors the Case's and there are still one or two 1150's in service on shingle beaches.

Re: The way we were
Hi,
Just a few pics I found of deliveries from Jack Olding and SLD Olding.
Cat D7 with Hyster dragline equipment.
Some Vickers tractors on the move
Michigan Loader on another ERF
They appeared to like their ERF 's but for this Michigan 475B they needed some help from Wynns Transport. It weighed in at 154 tons, was powered by a 660 H.P. Cummins engine and carried an 18 cu. yard bucket or a 22 yd. light materials bucket..

A Michigan 475 loader used to roam the industrial estate where I worked , quite a sight and cars got out of the way !
The estate owner had two seperate oil rig dismantling yards there where it operated.
Shoulda took a photo but one day it was gone along with a Scammell Contractor that must have been one of the last working

Yes similar regrets for me too; there are many things I regret not getting photos of but I do try and make up for it these days and anything remotely interesting gets snapped, okay so we did not have the benefit of digital photography back then and when your film came back from being developed there were many photos that often did not come out at all.
