great photos but the chain welded on for a step on the Terex does not set a great example for health and safety.

Hi Neil,

Sounds to me that you are spending too much time on the American HEF site with a "safety"comment like that :D :D :mrgreen: ha ha!!

They do tend to go over the top with the safety message, I guess its because over there everybody sues at the drop of a hat !!

I can remember those hanging chain steps on motor scrapers back in the 70s, as I recall they were pretty standard then :dizzy:

The reason for the chain step is that a ridged step would end up bent or ripped off
