EXCAVATOR AND BLADE AT WORK TODAY

Post #1 by FOWLER MAN » Tue Apr 06, 2010 10:16 pm

Hello,
Heres some photos. of two of my machines at work today.
The Sumitomo 135 is a 1999 machine. It was a "grey import" which I bought 8 years ago,
It was re-tracked then, and all I have bought for it since apart from filters is a throttle-
cable and a cab door lock. ( Lucky or a good-un????)
The Fowler 33 is 55 years old and still working.
She is my next restoration project as soon as I can get her in.
Seccond time around for this one, last restored 18 years ago but put back to work.

Fred

Fred, that Sumitomo looks a lovely machine, although the control's are in front, which must be a pain at times! Have you got plenty of work on? Im living just over the way in Caerphilly.
All the best mate,
Ashley.

Wonder if your Fowler is the last one in front line service ?
Not all those who wander are lost.
