They've improved access to this site, some great old plant stuff , the stills button at bottom of each page is good too , you can look at the whole film in stills in seconds and find the plant bits very quickly.

Thanks Craig and to the others posting Pathe links.

The Weatherills look like a 2H and a 4HTW which could load over the cab.

British engineering quality 2nd to none? With in 30 years it would either fall apart or become hopelessly out of date probably with JCB being the exception.

Just found these old films. Brilliant. Thanks to all for posting.
Anyone notice the Merton Overloader in the background in the
Bulldozer School Clip.(red machine).

Great to see the old Allis's too,they were good tools.I helped look after
a small fleet of 6G and 7G shovels and HD16 blades in the 1960's.
there was a TL20 wheeled loader too.

I bought an HD21P (D8 size) in the late 1970's. Sorry no pics.

These are actually Movie tone but plenty of old kit , particiularly like Shermans with boxes !
