Never thought of that Fred , sure you are right, it would be a nuisance swinging about on the back of a track loader.

Massey backactors were detachable, never tried it though - looked a right faff!
Note the groundworkers almost under the overhang with the site office on top.

Won't take long to load for this enormous Michigan to load this Bedford TK tipper with grit ( if they close the tailgate ! )

hmm wonder if the driver noticed how much quicker the truck got as it went down the road getting lighter and lighter?
I did know a truck driver who took a container trailer over to the continent; when he got there and they opened the container doors it was empty
he had picked up the wrong trailer, he said "I wondered why the truck was pulling so well?"

Good stuff Craig you are quite correct mind the Health & Safety have not made things any better we would be better off without it.
