Nice pics , never seen a civvy ET6 6 wheeler thought they only made them for RAF , can't have been bursting with power :)

Yes, a rare beast, I think I read that the one in the photo had been fitted with a Perkins P6.
Still not exactly bursting with power, but probably just as well. I don't think the transmission could cope with any more.

Rail video with good film of dozers and scrapers etc working UK in early 50s, look at 3.0 -7.0 minutes.

Great bit of film there Craig, :bow: I'm glad to see two old Fowlers among the Allises, Cats and International. :lol: :lol:
I've got some very old stills of work being carried out on a Brunell viaduct and tunnel local to me. Strictly horse and steam power then. :)
I'll post them in off topic later if I can find them. :thumbup:

I wonder if they cut the film of the tango-ing scrapers at 6min 28sec because the two on the left hit each other ?
