These are my favourite type of pic and hit a rich vein lately, if i've got the id of machines wrong please tell ,luckily for me lots have an id written on the side ;-

Quite exotic for Wales in 1962 - Mercedes with Blaw Knox mixer.





Unusual use for scraper ,AEC Coles loads one with bridge bits



Think this is a Vickers ?? on left International ?? on right ( its an Allis Chalmers - thanks Gary), and it could be Mablethorpe .

Classic demolition crew Hymac 580 Cat 951? Ford D series tipper

Cat 953? and Seddon tipper with big greedy boards

Nice pics...the last two look like a 951A's I'd say.

That dozer with vertical rams is definitely an Allis but I can't give the size. I like that scraper pic. Rail bridges have to utilize a layer of dirt between the bridge and track, and it is a given that maintenance is an ongoing task. This means dirt could be coming or going. Hard to say by looking at the workers topside, but I'd hazard a guess that dirt is going up.

RB 19 with face shovel and battered Commer ( QX ? ) tipper.

Wimpey RB22 with face shovel knocks down victoriana building with beutiful replacements behind

RB 19 ? with drag shovel seems to struggle while Drott gets stuck in loading Thames Trader tipper

RB 19? skimmer knocks top off shops, banksman actually wearing hard hat.



Smart RB 22 ? Continental cab arrives on Scammell Highwayman low loader with knocked out rear axles.
