I've been trying to get down there and get a few pics of it for myself its got an odd boom on it that ends in a fork similar to the ones fitted to the 5C & 7B machine and latter 807, 808.
Nice pics there Ian that Scania has a very unusual tipper body it's obviously designed for that type of work but looks like you could loose a bit off the back.

Those wagon back ends are like that because alot of them pull trailers with a planer on the back and having the lower tailgate means the planer can sit further up the trailer andthe chute can sit over the body with out hitting it......or thats what i got told on site a few weeks back

Hi Joe - That's true - I've seen them transported like that before - mind you this one arrived on a low loader I think.

Yeh that one is far too big to be pulled behind a wagon....This will most likely have been delivered by Power Planes Scania R520? 580? with a 4 axle king trailor....i see it quite regular around this way!

Second one .. Thats me standing on a 1000 tons of shovel ... If thats not enough theres 1500 ton of shovel in the back ground.
