Okay then lets start the ball rolling so as to speak. I took this picture this evening as I got back from work. I noticed that the local petrol filling station is being demolished and being rebuilt, when I saw the machine in this postion I thought they were still at work and pulled over to get a few pics, but to my surprise the operator had left the machine in this position over night :o

Jeremy.....

That machine might have had a mechanical failure!! I had something similar happen on my old cat and had to leave it for 3 days with its arm in a raised position!

Nope Joe it did not have a mechanical failure when I came past earlier this evening it was parked up normally, as I went out latter on it had been put back in a similar position like its ready for the first bite of the day. :D and there are site huts with people in em so I doubt it was to stop anybody trying to pinch the shear (excuse the pun  )
