Bonser LS55 spares

Post #1 by guy3258 » Tue Mar 19, 2024 11:00 am

Hello everyone
I have a Bonser LS55
The splines on the shaft drive to the hydraulic pum and in the bit it fits into which attach to the pump have worn out
I have a new shaft
Does anyone know where I may obtain the bit it fits into?
Presently the pump itself is not with me but I have asked the chap who has it to provide details should they be required to address this plea
The engine is the David Brown 990 I am told

I fear this is not my area of expertise but I do my best.

Welcome Guy  I cannot say if the parts are available or not, a Google search of the manufacturer Bonser is a good start, if they are not available then the next best bet is an engineering company who could machine an alternative way to take the drive for you, let us know how you get on?

Oily bits not my thing but as David Brown skid unit could this be a David Brown part ?
Coincidentally just being watching a LS55 on you tube in a very funny episode of the Likely Lads.

Thanks everybody. I will get hands on next week. As I lay in bed last night it dawned on me that our local engineering shop may be able to get the coupling off and we can go from there.
They must be about somewhere though. It's just the where.
