This DVD was well up to the high standards set by Primetime video. I was at this event and found it very enjoyable. The DVD captured the enjoyment that was had by the machine exhibitors and the machine enthusiasts that were present.
I have always liked videos /DVD's by Prime time as they are informative without being too over the top and too serious, as this hobby is to be enjoyed. The naration by Allan Stennett is first class. The photography is also very good with some close up shots of inside the scraper bowls as its loaded and discharged. Also good shots from the operators viewpoint.
I also liked the owners of the machines giving a brief history of their machines. There is also a clip of the machines being unloaded.
This event had everything, classic machines,a usefull purpose of the event and enjoyment of everyone.
Well done Primetime and well done to Paul and Julie Badger,Link club members and all the machine owners and operators for putting this event together.
This DVD is a must see if you are classic plant enthusiasts.Running time 90 minutes, cost £15.95
See details at top of this page in how to order a copy
Also, for only £25 per year, you can join the Link club as they put on various events on around the UK that plant enthusiasts will enjoy.

Its great to see these working events as they take a bit of planning and a fair bit of expense to get the machines to the events. The cost of fuel does not help, the larger machines are thirsty beasts Also the people involved sometime have to take a couple of days off their work in order to get machines ready and to transport them to events around the UK
Hopefully the younger machinery enthusiasts can be attracted to these events as they are the future of the hobby. There are some new working events starting up,the Crynant event in the Neath valley South Wales is one example.
So please support these events as they also raise money for good causes like the air ambulance
