The Classic Machinery Network

This show is quite a long way off yet (october bank holiday weekend), but the organiser is currently looking for plant, machinary, haulage, crane and lorry model collectors to attend. Last years show was excellent but a large emphasis was placed on agricultural dioramas due to lack of advertisment. This year a better balance between agriculture and plant machinary models is anticipated so anyone interested in displaying their plant, machinary, crane or truck model collections and dioramas are welcome to book a table now by contacting Kevin at Modelmania.

The show runs over two days (saturday and sunday) and is very well organised with crowd barriers placed in front of all tables to prevent handling of models by the crowds, as well as 24 hour security to look after the models throughout the day and night. I displayed models at this show last year and it was a pleasure due to the careful organisation and running of the show by modelmania so I can recommend it to anyone. There are quite a few Irish members here now who collect models so it'd be a great weekend to get together and discuss/compare models and have a bit of craic!

hi there noel it looked a fantastic show last year its a pity we didn't get down to see it. There is at least 3 construction displayers planning on coming down from northern ireland this year and we are working on trying to get a few more to come down and support the show.

the 112 looks great with the Luffer set up on it there Darren, looks perfect and great beside the Wind tower, any more shots there of the connection of the luffer.

well i might all going well be displaying that this show this year a great avent and well worth the trip and great to see these shows over a two day period,

just over a month to go before irelands biggest and best model show
by all accounts its going to be bigger and better than last years
about 20 trucks (heavy haulage mostly) out side and hopefully a few cranes aswell.
