Tips on making wheel loader tyre chains?

Post #1 by niner » Mon Feb 06, 2012 9:15 pm

Anyone got any tips on making some like this- http://upload.ecvv.com/upload/Product/201112/China_Wheel_Loader_Tyre_Protection_Chains20111291335500.jpg

I wouldn't mind making some for my WA800 and 900.

Cheers in advance

I got a friend to do this for me and he used a vail from a wedding dress shop and he has sewed them onto the wheels, to finish it of i think it would need a metal sir clip or something

Tidy, looks good.

I have a massive lack of decent model shops in North Wales that stock model making and dio materials. Always helps when you have stuff like that to look through. Need some fine guage mesh of some sort.
