Menzi muck dio Finished

Post #1 by niner » Fri May 30, 2014 11:01 am

A good morning dio building this morning before my daughter drags her backside out of bed!

It's not finished but for now the mold had a coat of paint last night and then this morning the PVA glue came out to add some grass, bushes and some rocks. There is still a lot to do, i just need to nip into the local quarry to pick up some fine dust that collects under the conveyor belts. This will be put down so I can add tyre and track marks in and then seal it with a PVA spray.

I've bought a JOAL Morooka tracked tipper to add to it. I plan on weathering that a bit. It should arrive in the post today.

The pics so far.

Any points or criticism to improve it welcome as always. :-)

It's 1:50.

A nice little model but debatable if it's worth the £120 pricetag.

:o I thought it looked like it was digging its way through Nick Drews birthday cake!

Only kidding, unusual model, not seen one before.

Well, lets be honest, are these things ever finished?

Here are a few photos of the finished article. I really need to get to grips with sorting a good background for the photos.

Wow this is great, there is so much detail! I might have to try something similar to this. Great work!
