I remember the sed show well, :D yes i had the 1/16th scale 3CX under contruction with me and a few other bits an peices, i think i upset Hugh Edeleanu at that show as my models was having more intrest than his machines, even Sir Antony Bamford came over to me before he went to Hugh :o ...

I did the ME version, moulded it but it never sold, and no like all the moulds, they got lost in time.

Yeah i do remember lots of action around your models :D Shame the moulds got lost was a cracking looking model from what i remember would you ever make a conversion kit of it ?

I remember now, the ME 375 caught the attention of Caterpillar Europe, they were intrested in the conversion but what put me off was the CAT licence fee, and the time scale, they were also intrested in me doing other things for them on the limited version lines, but i was commited to the 22 and turned them down.. i do have pics of the 375, i shall dig them out tomorrow.

Don't worry about the liscence fee just build it and dont badge it up with the cat name mass excavation arm for joal 375 sounds good wink wink

Well it would be easy to do again, i had a week on 375 ME a few years ago in milton keynes, but yes its worth thinking about.

I am terrible for names but i was on for Hamilton bros of newcastle way, great guys to work for, but they had a 375 on demo and it was hired to a company called Ascot i think, snotty little firm, they were on a shanks McEwan tip at Bletchley, it was the forming of a new extension of the land fill site there, but thats another story.

Hello Martyn,spoke again to Peter Simpson regarding your question on the model show,he will sort it.He has had two boxes of pictures and articles from the previous editor delivered to him.

They have restructured Kelsey publishing,he seems to be just doing articles for various magazines.
