Noels Models

Post #1 by Noel » Tue Mar 29, 2011 5:28 pm

Hello all, I mainly collect crane models but also some heavy haulage and heavy plant machinery models too. If its ok i'll keep all my model pics together in this thread no matter what type of models they are and update it from time to time instead of having them scattered all over the forum in different sections!

Ok I'll start off with my Wiesbauer Krane fleet, a German based crane company which some of you may be familiar with. I had a nice package day today with 2 new cranes in this livery, the ac100 from conrad and ltm1050 from WSI. Here's a few pics..

Wiesbauer ac100: probably the nicest version conrad have made after the kavanagh one..

Wiesbauer LTM1050:

Here's a few shots of my Wiesbauer fleet as it stands now, from top of picture down.. Volvo FH16 + 4 axle lowloader, Liebherr LG1550, Terex Demag ac200, Grove GMK 5095, Grove GMK 4100L, Terex Demag ac100 and Liebherr LTM1050. Hopefully the mighty MAN TGX with Palfinger will be added in the coming months..

Thanks lads i'll add more soon, I also collect a few other company liveries. John I would say the best models after the YCC would be the TWH groves, the detail in them is excellent. The only problem with them is they are very expensive here in Europe compared to other manufacturers as TWH are based in the US. The WSI ltm1050 is a very nicely detailed model too for the price. But if you prefer bulk and strength more so than detail, the conrad and NZG's are better as you can handle them without fear of bits falling off! :)
