Excellant workmanship Michael , this is gonna be amazing once finished , I want to build a 1:14 scale LTM1030 out of aluminium one day and radio control it , full hydraulics the works. I shall be following this closely.

Thats looking good, coming on well. That is going to be massive when finished, where you going to keep it?

I'm not really into cranes but they do seem to have the best detail of all the construction scale models.

Got back to working on the model after clearing some space. Made a start on hoist cradles and a master for pulleys.

Had some parts cut by CNC. Just over 400 parts to make 14 counterweights.

Brilliant, have you filled them with any ballast?

Next job is to sort out cable drums with small geared motors.

Hi Michael,

Can I ask who did the CNC cutting for you?.

Was it reasonably priced and did you have to do the CAD work yourself?. (if so which software do you use?)

Sorry for all the questions - just curious!

Regards

Richard
