Thanks for the pics, the "E" series Cat shovels along with the "D" have got to be my fave, first job i ever did as an apprentice was transmission out of an ARC 966E.........

Your Right, there was a 966D, think it was 94X prefix which changed late on in the serial no range to an E series.....

there's a 950E in scotland for sale in this weeks Resale Weekley.A 1990 model at Fife Tyres.£35k and a 1988 215C for same outfit £9.5k.
