Re: Trojan loader
The Trojan loaders were manufactured by Yale & Towne and normally powered by GM or Cummins.Yale sold the loader division to Faun in 1982 who inturn sold their wheeled loader division to O&K in 1986.

Re: Trojan loader
Sad to say that it looks like this relic has now gone to the great workshop in the sky, went past today and all has been cleared and no sign of the Trojan......

Re: Trojan loader
hello all,
without a shadow of doubt the loader was a yale 404. it was powered probably by a cummins, i drove one in the late sixties, the doors on the cab were of the sliding type where as the smaller yale 204 had opening doors and if by any chance they were not secured open or closed the loader arms would promptly rip them off,the 204 was powered by a leyland 400 series lump.the main agent here in south wales was jack harvey plant of port talbot, hope this puts a little light on the proceedings.
