Your right there Pete its certainly not aesthetically pleasing, must be as rare as hens teeth I would of thought. :think:

Your right about the appearance of this Sky-Hi.
I worked on one in late 1950's early 60's, and it had completely different geometry. :?
The hoist rams did not stick up like sore thumbs like the one in this post and the crowd rams were at the top of the arms nearest the cab out of harms way.
Must have been a later model. :?:
An all together prettier machine. :lol: :lol:

If you look at the slope of the front windscreen in the third picture, its a wonder the driver could see where he was going :wtf: not too much thought given to practical design there then :lol:
The position of the hoist rams make it look like an angry bull with its horns pointed forward.
