Trojan loadster

Post #1 by slinger » Thu Feb 17, 2011 8:25 pm

you can't get any newer at this than I am. I purchased a 1957 Trojan Loadster LHM-75 and can't find history or service info anywhere. The machine runs great, it is a Hercules JX4-D3 gas engine and it starts every time, even at -34 Celcius. I really need to get info on the hydraulics if anyone can help.

Thanks for the help. I read his entire site, and downloaded the manual, but it is only an operators manual, and does not go into any real detail. The link to the manual is dead, so I downloaded what it had, page by page, unfortunately the pages are very small and blurry when printed.
That machine looks almost exactly like mine. I even thought it was mine when I first saw it.
I know these machines were popular in their day, and the engines were used in a variety of loaders, forklifts, and tractors, but i am unable to find anything other than spark plug gap.
