Does anybody have pictures or specs of Merton 130B loader? Was it the biggest rigid- frame wheel loader Merton manufactured?
I only found out (Tractorwiki) there was that kind of loader.

Re: Merton 130B loader?
Merton was very much an also-ran in the loader market Bray and Muir Hill sold far more and they were overshadowed by Cat, Hough and the other big firms, We had a 100 B, it had a Ford 6D engine and a Brockhouse TTT trans its weak point was the axles . Although it would push and lift big loads the axles kept cracking so the only cure was find a pair of better axles - we didnt bother.
BTW Whitlock sold a lot of Ford based "Dinkum" diggers and were cheaper than the original JCBs but then Mr Bamford made BMC/Leyland improve the tractor skid unit and the rest is history. Did Whitlock get merged eventually with Hymac or am I mistaken
