Cat 980G

Post #1 by Jeremy Rowland » Sun Dec 30, 2007 11:46 pm

Hi to all,

Spotted this Cat 980G a while back now it is part of Dunn Bros extensive fleet of machinery. Bit unusual to see a machine of this type being used in a scrap yard, I suppose they use it to handle the non-metalic waste from the fragmentising plant that they have there.

Hello there JR,

EMR use 980's in a few of there scrap yards, mainly for loading trains that are going out, also used for pushing up the scrap piles.
