Nice period photo Tim. Makes the cab looked cramped! What date? The 500 LM came out in 1955 but I guess that is a little later.

The AEC Mammoth Major Mk 5 came out in 1958 Pete so the pic is probably around 1959/60 I would think.

With the cable loaders from the 1950s there is a lever with a weight (or disk) on the end on the drivers left side of the cab. What does that lever do?
