So was the 22 really a replacement for the 2H? I guess they overlapped and then there was a 12 as well. All rear drive Ford based machines.

The 22H was not a replacement for the 2H it was developed as a cheaper alternative for Local Authorities but it became popular with the ReadyMix industry.

Hi Pete the top one is an 8H that has had the Fordson skid unit removed and replaced with a Volvo tractor unit (Drive Axle and engine cover) the second unit has been painted in Fordson colours it is fitted with the wrong driving wheels.

That's how i bought it at a farm in Lower Austria - it was a bit dirty, but the engine and the functions worked very well!
The only things, that didn't work, were the brakes...

Last summer, we began the restoration works. We removed the cabin, the counterweight and the battery and again gave him a shower...
