The L60 looks quite a usefull tool and modern , do you know what years were they made essexpete ?

Need John to confirm!
I only saw one L60 in the flesh years ago. It was really very simlar to an early 12H with a 4 cyl Major engine and brockhouse T/C. It appeared very slow and gutless with poor turning lock.

Hi John, thanks for the photos. I see it was a little more than a Major engine!
The demo photo does show an advantage over a 12H which could be a little tricky off the hard.

anybody any info on what a fordson major based weatherill is worth, ive fell in with this machine and i'm going to move it on. the machine is straight and has been sitting inside the last 20 years.

It looks like a high lift variant of the 2H as often used in coal yards. It looks very clean and original, the plate is there and no doubt John Tutt on CMN will be able to give you an age. My guess is a little over the weigh in price if you are lucky. These machines, though in relatively low numbers compared to an agricultural Fordson, do not appear to command high prices. Perhaps a combination of less interest and high weights to shift them around.

yea there is a serial number plate on it, i could try and get a pic up.funny this machine did belong to a coalman.
