I play football with the 345 driver at Graig, Paz. Great lad he is he's been trying to get me on there for some photos, but you know what health and safety are like!!

Could i ask some of you loader pilots, i was told 988g's are a bit of a handfull and need a driver with a bit of experence, is this due to the monoboom being more fragile than the z frame?

neil,When the g's first landed in the late 90,s the drivers reported something similar to what you said.I was on a 980C one winter at the time and put it down to the new fangled steering controles so just assumed that they would get the hang of them.They didn't because I went back a year later on a 155 ripping and they had replaced all 3 with Volvo 220's.
