When used for log handling the front end loader usually gets some very modest modifications. It will need a 3rd spool
in the hydraulic system to control the top clamp, and often they are given a bit more counterweight. As a rock loader they are balanced for digging, and need a little more weight on the front wheels to keep the front wheels down while digging, but in a fork configuration you dont dig with them so more counterweight just means it will lift more with no disadvantage.
