Very Early Weatherill 2H

Post #1 by essexpete » Mon Feb 20, 2017 12:53 am

Just sold on ebay. I hope it survives. It looks like an early version although most I have seen in photos had a single side mounted ram or a trip bucket. I wonder if this was mod? There are some holes on the r/h loader arm and the spool lever look original. Non original bonnet/grill.

The 2H modified to have a centre crowd ram usually had a crane attachment not a bucket. The bucket shown looks a bit wide they usually only covered the front track the extra holes in the sidearm cross member are for the manual bucket release.

Hi John
It looks like an early one by the shape of the arms? What do you reckon, say pre '55?

Let us hope that the machine is kept in one piece and not butchered for relatively common tractor underneath.
