Them loader arms either side of driver always looked lethal.

Ok Craig if the cab and glass is in place I suppose. I think that is one of the reason that layout was dropped, that and cr*ap access. Having said that I think the Weatherill 42H was made into the late 70s by which time it would be pre-historic.

Hi Guys!

I'm Fritz, I live in Austria and I'm the owner of the 42-H seen in the Video above.
Essexpete got in touch with me on Youtube, he told me about this forum and I'm glad to be here.
I hope to get some help here for the planned resoration job on my 42-H. It looks like there are a few Weatherill-experts here!;)

So long, have a nice day! :)

Greetings,
Fritz
Best regards from Austria,
Fritz

An Austrian Weatherill! Welcome Fritz and can you post some photos when you have a spare moment. I'll have a look in my draw, I can't remember I have a 42H book. I hope John Tutt sees your post, as a former employee of F E Weatherill he is a mine of information. He would be able to date your machine as well.
I have a couple of British Loaders languishing in the barn, a 1955 Weatherill 8H which was FEW's first attempt at front wheel drive and a Chaseside LM700.

Hi Fritz if your machine still has its brass manufacturers plate with its serial number I will be able to date it for you.

Hi Guys!

Thank you all for the warm welcome! I'm sorry for answering not earlier, but was very busy.
I'll take a pic of the brass manufacturers plate and will post it here, so maybe you could say something about my loader.

See also the Weatherill-thread for some more pics of my 42-H! I hope you'll like it! :)
Best regards from Austria,
Fritz
