The Classic Machinery Network

I have been working on one of these this week.They are owned by Network Rail but are maintained by us. They are powered by a Volvo diesel and has a generator powered by a 5 cylinder Duetz. These Multi Purpose Vehicles can do many tasks as the name suggests, such as sandite duties and weed killing.
Also there were 4 stone blowers under maintenance next to the MPV.I was shown how they work,incredible bit of kit

This is the manual method of what a stone blower does.The machine is much faster and a lot more powerfull.
