used to drive BCL`s low loader in the 90`s used to hate railway work never get the righ address and usually could never get in !!!

OK John. What did you think of BCL? I did some cross hire work for them in Tilbury docks several times but did n't think much of them or the slow paying. :|

Yeh done a fair bit for BCL (Ardmore Group) myself Clive ....I can relate to the slow paying + wrong amount.. comment :lol: :lol:

Nick, was on hire to them with a time sheet signed by the hirer and they argued the toss. In the end it was going to court but they paid on the last day! :thumbup: That Marry Byrne was said to be a fierce woman, she was on the phone, in the flesh, well, I never had to find out! :lol:

Oh, forgot to say, they wanted drivers for the hire in the docks but I wouldn't supply any because of the slow paying. When I got there with my machine, low and behold, some of the self employed men I used were there! I was pi**ed off, but not as much as the drivers were when it took them about 2 months to get paid just for wages! :lol:

That, as they say, was the end of that! ;)

Sounds like the pool of drivers will dry up! Serves them right!!!!

Quatro rail seem to be the emerging force around here, out off east london.

Yeh, a mate of mine who I used to work on the rails with down this neck of the woods is now working for Quattro and he reckons they are a sound outfit :thumbup:
