Post #1 by ryanrailengineer » Sun Nov 07, 2010 10:33 pm

As most of you may have heard on Thursday a cement truck fell onto the track and also hit the train passing the bridge was hit. http://www.railnews.co.uk/news/general/2010/11/05-several-people-reported-injured-as.html All weekend i have been working on this strech of line ready for the monday morning rush hour. Sorry i could not take any pictures as i was not allowed instructions by the RAIB. But all train services will be back to normal in the morning after final checks have been completed by network rail but my job is done time for some well earned rest. :)

Same as me,we have a two yearly refresher with DP and PTS.We also had to do a communication course as we deal a lot with signallers. As you know they are keen on correct communication as all the conversation between ourselves and the signallers are recorded.
Cheers
