Re: Scottish mining videos
Cheers Stu!
I would be much happier if the job was full time as it's a bit hit and miss sometimes
Things do seem to be getting better and work is coming in on a steadier basis.
All the best

I can relate to that Paul
So hard to balance two different jobs, and so much more I could do personally if the blog role could become full time .....but I won't hold my breath

I've made a decision to push the photography/writing/video side of my business further this year as it is the main direction that I want to head. That said, the building side is still busy and will be for the next 4 months for me!

Re: Scottish mining videos
Some excellent video footage there Paul Have just been watching the Stokey D11R working away!
I agree with Stuart I am a tad jealous of your occupation, is the video footage taken on you DSLR or have you a dedicated viseo recorder?
Regards
Michael

Re: Scottish mining videos
Hi Michael,
Thanks for your comments, there are a few more videos going on soon, just wish I had a bit more time!
The videos are shot either on my Sony camcorder or a Sony Pro camcorder that I hire in for certain projects.
This year will see some time-lapse videos and a couple of Go-Pro cameras coming to take some different sort of footage.
Problem is having to do everything in HD as it takes time to process and upload.

Re: Scottish mining videos
Look forward to the time lapse footage, that is certainly something different
I agree with you about uploading images/footage, I have filled my laptop up to its max with music and photos and need to buy another external hard drive to make space.
I bought a sony camcorder a few years ago mainly to get some video footage of Thompsons D11N working, when I got to the quarry, camcorder in hand I was told it had been sold!
Regards
