Nice to know we're spoke about lol! I've been taking a lot of trips down there often and there's a lot to see. I'm going to keep going down while there's views like that. Just get tired of the bloody walk from the car and back lol.

Cracking pictures lads, just the sort of kit i like. I would love to get up there and get some pics like that. We used to have machines like that in the Granite quarry next to us in North Wales but it's all gone now

Whereabouts in North Wales are you? the only granite quarry I know of is Penmaenmawr.

Thats the one. used to be a pretty big quarry, I grew up in and around the quarry with most of my family working there. Not many machines left now

Used to carry granite dust out of there to Manchester many years ago with a family friend in an old F7 Volvo

Without hijacking this thread, I took a trip up there a few weeks back, not many machines there now.
