Hi guys
the first RH200 in the uk went to RJB Mining for use at west chevington in 1989, i also belive it was the first off the production line? they bought a second machine later that same year for use in the tinsley park occs, this unit then went on to arkwright and then oregreave. today it is used for spares to keep its sister machine going at steadsburn, crouch mining bought 2 units in 1990 for the stobswood site and in 2002 banks mining took one for use at their pegswood site.
Regards
Martin

Excellent thread guys , is West Chevington OCCS still operating?
Its a shame to see the RH200 from Orgreave in such a state, i had a site visit there a few years ago and watched this impressive machine working. During a rest period i managed to get a photograph of me stood in front of the bucket which was huge, it was the first time i got to see cat 789 trucks as well which were also an awsome machine!
Its such a shame the UK mining industry is a fraction of the size it once was!
