Yeh i really like the colour scheme on the Banks machine! I do quite like the more purple version too though! But all white ith the purple band and decals is deffinately the way forward!

The accountants probably told them the purple paint was costing too much and had to use less

I prefere the Banks machine with as little purple paint on it as possible, those machines in Scotland with the purple cabs look awful.
Will be interesting to see what the 120's look like in cat colours  At least there wont be any purple in it.

Regards

Wont be long before they're yellow with a black stripe, not white with a purple one eh mike!

Personally, purple should be banned from earthmovers of any description, it's like plant wearing make-up, bloody dreadful!

the next 120e is due in march and is in backhoe configuration and is going to shotton and the 120c backhoe is heading for brenkley, the komatsus are leased only with 3 on site at the minute with a further 3 to come, theres currently some of our rental 777ds on site running along side 777c's and b's. the c18 engines fitted in the 120e's at shotton are due for replacement in the easter shutdown. having had a go in the new 'e' the hydraulics are far smoother due to the c27 engines handling the hydraulics more evenly (not so much load factor) compared to the c18s. they dont lug down as much.
