schmidag bristol
hear is my bristol tarus and mylittle schmidag again never seen a bristol te same seen a few schmidags on he net

I know of a Schmidag for sale if there are any takers? It needs resoration but comes with the bucket, blade and backacter.

Hi,
The man I worked for about 1964 bought a Schmidag from a local builder.
If I remember rightly it had a Hatz single cyl. engine, and Sellwoods were the agents for them.
Once or twice if it was quiet in the shop and he was short of an operator I was sent out on the thing.
The one thing I do remember is if you were digging a foundation full depth, (not much more than 1M.), there was not enough reach to place the muck unless you could place it both sides of the trench.
