Something different from The Smalley Stable

Post #1 by FOWLER MAN » Tue Mar 26, 2013 10:02 pm

Hi,
Richard Smalley was an innovative inventor and producer, I met him at SED 20 plus years ago and he was talking about developing this loader then.
The loader was probably ahead of its time. It was apparently designed to work in a culvert with low head room.
I wonder how many were made??

Good stuff Fred and a novel idea but I would guess that it was outsold and outdone by the common skid steer which would be both cheaper to manufacture and more agile, plus tyres are generally cheaper than tracks to replace.
