Mf 200 track price

Post #1 by Kev_Baxendale » Fri Nov 23, 2012 8:01 am

Hi, can any one help me? weve been tidying up round the farm and decided to sell some of our parts. We have a set of new never fitted tracks for a mf 200 drott. no pads or bolts just the chain part. Does anyone have an idea what they might be worth? weve since sold both the 200's. Any advice would be helpful Cheers!

It depends on pin and bush condition plus rail wear, I have a list of track wear limits for all makes of machines.New rail width is 78 mm 75% worn is 74.7 mm.Hope this helps.

Put it this way,I once asked a well know machinery dealer for a set of tracks for a Drott. The quote was £1500. I don't think a person restoring a machine would fork out that much as its worth more than a complete machine.

Kevin, if those chains have been hanging around for any length of time they are probaly locked up (seized up) and fit only for China? locked up links are more trouble than its worth usualy.

Tony is right there,if stood for a long time they can lock up.I had a set of new tracks on a machine that had not moved for years.I sprayed the links with neat trailorwash and left it to soak into the joints. That worked well.
