MF 200

Post #1 by FOWLER MAN » Sat Aug 04, 2012 4:22 pm

Hi All,
I already mentioned on here somewhere that I'm trying to buy a Priestman 108 to restore. In the meantime I found this MF 200 and made the man an offer this morning. I'll keep you posted.

Sure I have (somewhere) a die cast scale model of the Hanomag version of that machine. (Without backacter though.) Has that same 'nose' in the front of the cab!

The 200's are a good little machine.Loved working on them, not too keen on the 200D's though.Mike Harding will be drooling Fred as he was after one the other year.We went up to Swindon to look at it.She looks a sound machine and well kept Fred. Would love to see it

Lovely old MF200! Our version was piloted by an old guy who thought it was great, mind you he had moved up from a Bristol taurus. When the massey got a bit too much he got a ride on a 3c, it took him ages to get used to only having two levers! Roy "tiddly" Tideswell. He taught me a lot when i was a green apprentice.
there are old fitters and bold fitters but no old bold fitters...

That's a handy looking machine.
The 200s were popular here in OZ.Very rarely had a backhoe attached....we love our rippers & 4in1s.

Jim
