Hi Martyn,
Looks like a 300 with hoe attached. My uncle had a new 300 Drott in 74 & used/abused it for years on Demolition work.
Was the first machine I got on & gave me "Dozer Disease" for life.... :dizzy:

Here's a couple of 2244 pics.

Hi Martyn,
The MF machines were made in Italy, but I think ROH in Adelaide did the buckets/hydraulics.From memory,ROH were Rubery,Owen & Hemsley...or similar.
I have 2 of the 2244 Drotts wrecked for parts here.

The MF200 Drotts were common in Australia & many small contractors made a good living with them. They had a great boom lift height.

Hi Martyn
Yes that was a 300 with a 50 backhoe. good machine.
dad bought it second hand in 1980 and sold it in 1985.
the 200 front buckets were Ulrich. there was a chice between Rubery, owen and Ulrich.

Ah yes Merfyn, the Ulrich 4in1 bucket, the ram configuration was slighty different than the Rubery Owen buckets ...
