INTERNATIONAL 125 - EARLY DAYS

Post #1 by martyn williams » Wed Nov 21, 2007 3:56 pm

First photos of the 125 at Smiths yard. This is the first time I saw the 125.When it arrived at Finning,it had to be moved around with a big forklift as the tracks were solid.
This machine started its working life at AE Allway and Sons Middlesex.I even found a 1972 tax disc for this machine in its toolbox.
The cylinders and sump were full of water, the tracks were seized, one injector was u/s and stuck fast in the head also its radiator was missing.Apart from that it was ok.
The 125 is fitted with a BD281 International engine, its about 6 inches wider than a B100 and also has a larger fuel tank.
