IH Drott spares

Post #1 by eyetee » Mon Nov 30, 2009 1:04 am

recently bought a 100b with amongst its troubles has just the one brake, have stripped out the brakes which are each 3 shoes with 2 or 3 pads riveted to them. They need replacing, so far one supplier will part exchange £130 per side. This seems pretty steep.
The manifold is also cracked and would benefit from being replaced.
Track chains and sprockets can wieght.

Anybody have any leads or better still spares?

Hi Eyetee,Welcome to the forum .I am in australia ,so i can't help you with parts places in the UK ..B100 loader should be able to steer you in the right direction. There is a Site in the USA , www.steering clutch . com . i think Run by a company called General Gear. They have most brake lining steering clutchs and main clutch plates for a lot of different brands of crawlers . .Hector Gemme in canada is also a good source for parts . He is on the forum but under a user name that i can't think of at the moment . ian.

Hi i 2 i,
Depending where you live.If in the UK,I think a company B A Welch might be of help.As IanOz said, member B100 might be of help there.
I'm unsure if the B100 shares any parts with the TD6.....if so,I have TD6 spares.I think I might have one or two brake sections, plus gears, finals, etc.
In the USA,General Gear , FP Smith , Murphy Tractor & plenty of others will help you.Browne IH in Canada might be of help too.
Does the B100 have a BD264 engine? There a many Aussie tractor wreckers with 264 engines in their stock.I have a block here.
Good luck.
Jim
