Spotted this old Caterpillar 977H at a friends plant sales yard today....once again would be nice to see somebody save this old machine from the "Gas Axe" and do a good restoration job on it!

Could not find any identification plate on it so any one know what year this model was from??

This picture shows a 977L taken at Finning.This machine had a very hard life at the steelworks and was operated by Short Bros.plant hire.I think this machine has been exported
