Further to Richards questions etc about a Taurus, the machine in question he saw was more than likely a MK 2, only read this last night, and it mentioned that the dozer had a single ram mounted on the nose cone.

A local contractor here had a Bristol 'Overloader', which was a crawler shovel which lifted the bucket over the tractor to empty in a truck parked behind.

He did a lot of work with it at the time, and thought it a reasonable machine.

Hi all, a friend of mine has a Bristol Taurus track loader which they have owned since the 1960's and is in very good condition and has been stored in doors when not working. I don't know anything about these machine, as Im normally a backhoe loader man, but are planning to take ownership from him. What I dont know is how much it is worth, and if you can still get spares for them?

Any information be appreciated

I think Track Marshall carried on making them after Bristol folded , wether this makes spares any easier I don't know . But being all British built with Perkins engine wouldn't have thought it would be too bad for spares.

hi first time on but i have a few weird n wonderful items but the latest edition is a mk2 bristol taurus fitted with a heavy duty fork but came with a ulrich 4 in one bucket the cab is of at the moment but it needs some attention to the steering clutchs anyone got the settings for these or a photocopy of the manual
