Hasn't run for a couple of years. Plenty of compression. Electric and hand start. Starter motor not wired up .

A nice little project for someone as you say.
A company I worked for in the early 60s had one of these. I did a bit of work on it, (mainly servicing), as it was pretty reliable.
I did get to use it once or twice and my main recollection is that if you were trenching full depth, (which from memory was not much more than a meter), there was not enough reach to tip all the muck on one side of the trench.
I had to make a ramp to tip into a standard SWB TK 7 ton tipper with the loader bucket too.
